Regina Gullette, Phd Therapist Commitment to Hope

Ph.D., LICDC‑CS, SAP, MAC Telehealth: All of Ohio

Hello, I’m Regina — I’m glad you’re here

If you’ve been carrying emotional pain, navigating trauma, or struggling to break patterns that no longer serve you, I want you to know this: you don’t have to do it alone. I’m Regina, a trauma‑informed therapist and licensed chemical dependency counselor, and I’m here to offer a safe, grounded space where healing can begin.

I support adults and teens (12+) who are working through trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and recovery-related concerns. My approach is warm, direct, and deeply collaborative — centered on helping you reconnect with your resilience and move forward with clarity and confidence. I provide secure telehealth addiction support to adults throughout Ohio who are ready to make meaningful progress.

Therapy Groups Led by Dr. Gullette

Regina facilitates specialized therapy groups designed to support adults in recovery and personal growth.

My Background

With extensive experience in trauma recovery, substance use treatment, and emotional wellness, I help clients understand how past experiences shape present struggles. My work is rooted in compassion, accountability, and empowerment.

I’ve supported individuals in both individual and group settings, helping them build coping skills, manage triggers, and create meaningful change. My background includes:

  • trauma‑informed care

  • recovery and relapse‑prevention support

  • emotional regulation and grounding skills

  • strengths‑based and values‑driven planning

I believe every person has the capacity to heal — and therapy is a powerful place to rediscover that strength.

What You Can Expect

You can expect a non‑judgmental, supportive environment where your story is honored, and your goals guide the work. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, identify the patterns holding you back, and build a personalized plan that reflects your strengths and values.

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more in control of your life.

My Approach

I draw from evidence‑based, addiction‑competent modalities that support both mental health and substance‑use recovery, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Relapse‑prevention strategies

  • Stages‑of‑Change–informed interventions

  • Psychoeducation around addiction, triggers, and coping skills

  • Mindfulness and grounding techniques

  • Trauma‑informed care for co‑occurring disorders

My work integrates both mental health and substance‑use treatment, helping clients understand patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and strengthen long‑term recovery. Whether we’re addressing depression, trauma, anxiety, addiction, or the overlap between them, I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals.

Areas of Focus

I support adults and teens (12+) navigating:

  • trauma and trauma‑related symptoms

  • anxiety and depression

  • emotional overwhelm

  • recovery and relapse‑prevention

  • relationship and communication challenges

  • stress and life transitions

  • identity, self‑worth, and personal growth

My work is grounded in helping clients break cycles, build stability, and move toward lasting change.
